Becky Ruesken (47) of Effingham

Becky Ruesken, 47, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2 in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Rockwood, IL.  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Fourth Street, Effingham, IL. Memorials may be made in loving memory of Becky to E.A.R.S.

Becky was born on December 12, 1968, in Chester, IL, the daughter of David and Phyllis (Wingerter) Adams of Rockwood, IL. She married Eric Ruesken on July 7, 2006, in Effingham, and he survives. Becky graduated from Effingham High School in 1987. She was the co-owner of ARAB Termite and Pest Control in Effingham. She had two furry four legged children, better known as Grace and Riley. Becky liked to read, rock in her chair and sit on the beach.

Becky is survived by her husband, Eric Ruesken of Effingham; 2 sisters, Marjie (Claude Kempfer) Adams of Tilden and Rhea Shirley of Charleston; many nieces and nephews; and her 2 furry four legged children, Grace and Riley.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; and a niece.
