Sandra L. Bales, age 77 of Lakeland FL passed away at 7:00 AM Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Lakeland Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday, September 28 at Evangel United Methodist Church, 606 E. Popular St. Beecher City, IL. 62414. Visitation will begin at 10am Wednesday. Burial will be in Arborcrest Memorial Park, Effingham. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society or Hospice. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City is assisting.

Sandra was born in Cowden IL. a daughter of Jacob and Evelyn Wonus. She graduated from Beecher City High School. Sandra worked as a Telephone Operator for three years. She also worked for Wards and Kmart Department Stores. She was a Member of Eastern Star for 57 YEARS. Sandra married Larry E. Bales in Beecher City, IL.
Surviving are two daughters Kathy (Husband) Vito Ciavarelli of Cleveland GA. and Julie Bales of Lakeland FL; one Son Lars E. Bales of Lakeland FL; Sister Vicki (Husband) Virgil Buzzard of Beecher City IL. Four Grand Children; Katrina, Jeremy and Deanna Bales of Tampa FL and Anthony Ciavarelli of Kennesaw GA. Two Step-Grand Daughters, Becky Beaulieu and Holly Wendlandt.
She was preceded in death by her father Jacob, mother Evelyn and a brother Edmand.
