Helen M. Scott (96) of Toledo

Helen M. Scott, 96, of Toledo, Illinois passed away at 3:35 am on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Cumberland Rehab and Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, September 23 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service time at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Janesville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bradbury Free Methodist Church.

Helen was born on March 10, 1920 in Kankakee, Illinois to Ernest and Anna Blanche (Bruns) Holsapple. She married C. Leland Scott on August 9, 1941. He preceded her in death in 2004.

Surviving are children Leroy (Patsy) Scott of Toledo, John (Helen) Scott of Toledo, Ruth Ann Scott of West Chicago; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.

Helen was a homemaker and co-owner of Scott’s Feed Store. She was a member of the Bradbury Free Methodist Church.
