Marcella “Sally” was born on February 25, 1923, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of John and Margaret (Swingler) Kinkelaar. She married Kenneth F. Weber on June 7, 1944 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis, and he preceded her in death on May 28, 2011. Sally was a member of the Navy Mother’s Club, the St. Francis Council of Catholic Women and an avid bowler for many, many years. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a very loving, caring and fun-filled person who laughed a lot and made the people around her laugh with her. Sally was a die-hard Cubs fan and a loyal Illini basketball and T-Town Wooden Shoe fan. In addition to sports, she loved playing Bunco and Dominoes with family members and friends. Her heart and soul though, revolved around her greatest pride and joy, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she always said were her ‘best’ medicine. She prayed rosary after rosary for others and at this time would welcome your prayers for herself and family members.

She is survived by her sons, Ron (Evelyn) Weber of Collinsville and Larry (Jan) Weber of Heyworth; daughters, Nancy (Doug) Deters of Sigel and Bonnie (Bob) Schutz of White Hall; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; infant daughter, Debbie; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.
