Andrew L. Haywood, 31, of Phoenix, Arizona, died on Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Phoenix at his home.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont with Pastor Tom Weller officiating. Visitation will be from Noon until service time. Memorials may be made to Anthem Gathering at www.anthemgathering.com.

Andrew Lee Haywood was born on January 30, 1985 in Rockford, IL to Leroy Larsen and Lorita Ellen Haywood. He was a graduate of Master’s Commission and also worked on his degrees through Grand Canyon University, Ames Christian University and Global University. He grew up in the Evangelical and Charismatic movement and worked towards his ordination with the Assemblies of God, before embracing his Lutheran heritage. Pastor Drew taught online seminary courses via Anthem Leadership & Theological Seminary.

He is survived by: best friend, Jerrid Broadbent of Phoenix, AZ; paternal grandmother, Lillian Hamor of Rockford; brothers, Ovidio Aldana of Rockford, Miklo Aldana and his wife Jessica of Rockford and Marcus Larsen of Rockford; sisters, Shirley Haslett and her husband Christopher of Beecher City and Nellyda Gardewine and her husband Mathew of Effingham; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
