Harold Wade Robinson, age 86, of Louisville, passed away at 9:38 am on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.
Harold was born November 5, 1929, in Louisville, IL, the son of the late Loren D. and the late Inez (Bryan) Robinson. He married Doris Mae Robinson on May 12, 1961, at Red Brush Christian Church in Louisville. Doris preceded him in death on August 21, 1999.
Harold retired from the maintenance department with Amoco in Joliet, IL and was a member of the Flora Mason Lodge #204 and Moose Lodge for both over 50 years and a member of the American Legion Post 914.
He leaves to mourn his passing, sons Laron D. Sullivan of Channahon, IL, James W. (Alane) Robinson of Casey, IL; daughters P. Diane (Gerald) Cantu of Wilmington, IL, Rita K. (Nick) Governale of Joliet, IL; sister Aretha (Pete) Young of Louisville; grandchildren, Tracy L. (Tenley) Denton, Shirley L. (Troy) Acree, Tina L. Kilgore, Cynthia (Jim) Worst, Melissa Governale Amanda Governale, Wade Robinson; great- grandchildren, Keagan Galvin, Kaelynn (Brandon) Hoyt, Levi Loving, Travis Denton, Michael Loving, Shane Acree, Shawn Galvin, Genevieve Denton, Gavin Denton; great-great- grandchild, Tucker Hoyt.
Harold is preceded in death by parents, wife, son Richard D. Sullivan, brother Jack Robinson, and grandchild Theresa Krizmanic.
Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home of Louisville where the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, June 13, 2016. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Oskaloosa Cemetery and military rites will be accorded.
