Kathryn was born August 14, 1936 in Nokomis, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Alice (Short) Kaiser. Some knew her as “Lady Kay”. Kay loved the companionship of her different pets over the years. She was the best weather person, always knowing what kind of weather her sons would be traveling and driving in, with their jobs as over the road truckers. Kay dearly loved her bingo nights. Her family will fondly treasure her handmade gifts of needle point and crochet. Kay was dearly loved by all her family and friends. “We will sadly miss her! Mom, you are now free of pain, and are at peace… Till we meet again… We Love you so very much!”
Kathryn is survived by three children; a daughter Diana (Bill) Morris of Minooka, two sons Patrick A. (Penny) of Jewett, and Rick of Montrose; Kathryn is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Timothy (Lauren) Morris, Kari (Steve) Warriner, Chase Charles, Haleigh Sparling, and Braden Muller. She is also survived by one sister Patsy Handy of Pana Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Chester, and Eddie Ray.
