James Paul Inskeep, Jr. (65) of Greenup

James Paul Inskeep Jr., 65, of Greenup, Illinois passed away at 7:25 am on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 3 at the Hazel Dell Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm on Monday evening at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, Illinois. Burial will be in the Hazel Dell Cemetery, Northside.

Jim was born on February 18, 1951 in Greenup, Illinois; the son of Paul and Lucille (Kelly) Inskeep. He married Dianne Janney on June 17, 1972. She survives along with son Eric (Barbara) Inskeep of Greenup and daughter Leslie (Wylie) Seaton of Martinsville; grandchildren Megan Inskeep and Addison and Ava Seaton; sisters Minerva Hires of Newton, Guyla (Berlyn) Yockey of Willow Hill, Kay (Eugene) Cramer of Yale, Carol (Larry) Abraham of Bloomington, IN and Marietta Swango of Bloomington, IN; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brother-in-laws, Herschel Hires and Howard Swango.
Jim was a farmer and retired from Farm Pride in Casey, Illinois. He was an outdoorsman. He loved to go horseback riding, camping, coon hunting and fishing. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Jim was a member and Elder of the Hazel Dell Church of Christ.
