Leland J. Milleville, 62, of Altamont, died unexpectedly on Monday morning, April 18, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 21 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Altamont. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and for one hour prior to service time on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

Leland John Milleville was born on Monday, November 2, 1953 in Vandalia, IL to John and Aleda (Stein) Milleville. He was a long time farmer and had been employed with R & H Plumbing and Heating in Altamont for 34 years. He was an avid mushroom hunter, college basketball fan, gardener, and cook.
He is survived by his parents of Altamont; brothers, Dan Milleville and his wife Brenda, Glen Milleville and his wife Lorrie, Gary Milleville and his wife Samantha, and Russell Milleville all of Altamont; sisters, Oleta Weaver and her husband Jim of Greenwood, IN, Juanita Komosinoki and her husband Rick of Belle Vernon, PA, Rita Garn and her husband Wayne of Toms River, NJ, Mary Ann Smith and her husband Terry of St. Elmo, and Lois Phillips of Altamont; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death his brother-in-law, Mark Phillips.
