Bradley L. Holman, 66, of Brownstown, died at 6:34 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 at VFW. Post #9770 in Brownstown. Committal service will follow at Liberty Cemetery with Jim Dann officiating with military rites by VFW Post #9770. Visitation will be for 2 hours prior to service time at the VFW. Memorials may be made to Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care Center Activity Department. Gieseking-Claggett Funeral Home, Brownstown is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bradley Leroy Holman was born on Monday, October 31, 1949 in Shelbyville, IL to Fred and Magnolia ‘Short’ (Logue) Holman. He married Anita Barker December 22, 1973 at Liberty Christian Church in Sefton. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during Vietnam in the 101st Airborne. He was a member of Liberty Christian Church and the VFW Post #9770 of Brownstown. He was a barber in St. Peter, Farina, Vandalia, Sefton and Shelbyville. He loved auctions and collectibles and had a tendency for hoarding his finds; woodworking, glass engraving, playing Santa, hunting mushrooms, fishing and most importantly his family and grandkids.
In addition to his wife of over 42 years, Anita of Brownstown, he is survived by; son, John Holman of Charleston; daughter, Julie Kutz (Justin Fernandez) of Highland; sister, Patsy Burrus and her husband Bill of Beecher City; his four grandchildren, Daltyn, Austyn, and Braxtyn Kutz and Koltyn Fernandez and one he didn’t get to hold that is due to arrive in May.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Leon Holman.
