Richard "Dick" Day, 83, of Effingham died early Wednesday morning, March 23, 2016 at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Tuesday, March 29 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7pm Monday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with a 7pm 4th Degree service. Memorials to Rettsyndrome, in honor of his granddaughter, Carley Stephens, or to the Effingham or St. Anthony Sportsbackers.
