Eula M. Lewis, 88, of Louisville died at 12:50am Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Flora Garden Health Center in Flora.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Monday, March 21 at J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. Visitation will be from 5 to 8pm Sunday. Interment will be at Bible Grove Cemetery in rural Louisville. Memorials to Bible Grove Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.

Eula was born on March 28, 1927 in Blair Township, Clay County, the daughter of the late Gustav Edward Henry Grahn and the late Minnie Belle (Peter) Grahn.   On March 18, 1944 in Bible Grove Township she married Aaron W. Lewis.  He later preceded her in death.
 
She was employed by North Clay Grade School for 18 years as a custodian and was a member of the Bible Grove Christian Church.  She was also a member of the Ladies Aid and was involved in the home extension in Clay County.  Eula supported the American Cancer Society as well as walked and participated in the Relay for Life and the Elder Walk every year.  Eula was also known for writing the Bible Grove News column in the Clay County Republican for years.
 
Eula is survived by her sons Robert Lewis of Flora and Leon (Lindsay Foster) Lewis of Fox Lake, IL; daughters, Melody McMillan of Cuba, IL and Rebecca Lewis of Louisville; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Hall.  She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Aaron, daughter-in-law Mae Lewis, son-in-law Jack McMillian and sisters, Mary C. (Bill) Fowler, Della M. (Bernard) Baird and Edna Hale.
