Linda Balch, 76, of Neoga died at 11:30am Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., (Noon) , Thursday, March 17 in the Grace United Methodist Church of Neoga, IL, with Pastor Todd Krost of Neoga and the Rev. R. L. Hays of Charleston, IL officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 A.M. Thursday until service time at the church. Burial will be in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery of Neoga, IL. The Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church of Neoga, IL.

Linda was born May 21, 1939 in Moultrie County, Illinois, the daughter of Louie and Wilma (Shadow) Pedigo. She married Bobbie Balch June 17, 1957, in Mattoon, Illinois. Linda was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Neoga, and a member of the Eagles Club of Mattoon, Illinois. She was a retired employee of General Electric Company of Mattoon and she was a part time employee of the Neoga IGA store of Neoga, Illinois. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. 

Mrs. Balch leaves her husband, Bobbie Balch of Neoga, IL: four daughters, Robin Lane husband Darrell, Toni Trier and husband David, Belinda Balch all of Mattoon, Il and Terri Hays and husband Scot of Charleston, IL; three brothers, Amos Pedigo of Zephyrhills, FL, Luke Pedigo and wife Carla of Benton, IL and Mark Pedigo of Mattoon, IL; seven sisters, Irene O'Donnell and Edith Haulter and husband Ron, all of Indianapolis, IN, Betty Grant of Tuscola, IL, Mary Gullion and husband Paul and Shirley Campbell and husband Jim all of Mattoon, IL, Brenda Benton of Dorans, IL and Patty Miller and husband Delbert of Zephyrhills, FL; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

Mrs. Balch was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Harold, Harry, Eugene and Frankie Pedigo.
