Philomena E. Romack, 93, of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 12:57 P.M. Thursday, March 3, 2016, in the Heartland Christian Village of Neoga, Illinois.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A. M. Tuesday, March 8 in the St. Mary of The Assumption Church of Neoga, with the Rev. Fr. Sunder Ery officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga with a Parish Rosary at 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery of Neoga, IL. The Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, is in charge of arrangements.

Philomena was born April 14, 1922, in Effingham County, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Lohman) Tegeler. She married Harold Romack, March 12, 1945 in Green Creek, Illinois and Mr. Romack passed away October 25, 1999. Philomena was a member of the St. Mary of The Assumption Church and St. Mary Women's Council, both of Neoga, Illinois. She was employed as a seamstress for Kern Manufacturing Company of Neoga, IL. and she retired from Crawford's Shoe Company of Mattoon. She enjoyed being with her family and visiting with family and friends.

Mrs. Romack leaves two sons, Gerald "Jerry" Romack and wife Pam, Norman Romack and wife Susie all of Neoga, IL; three daughters, Martha Osborne and husband John of Toledo, IL, Marilyn Watters and husband Gerald of Radom, IL and Marlene Meek and husband Bob of Neoga, Il: one brother-in-law, Maynard Romack of Cape Girardeau, MO and one sister-in-law, Louise Tegeler of Effingham, IL; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Romack was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Romack; four brothers, Herman, Albert, Bernard and Joseph Tegeler; three sisters, Mary Sudkamp, Agnes Weiss and Rose Behl; and one great grandson, Gavin Romack.
