Carol Ann Redman, 80, of Dieterich died at 5:15am Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 13 at the Dieterich Village Cemetery in Dieterich. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children 2001 Lindbergh Blvd St. Louis, Missouri 63131.

Carol was born on October 11, 1935 in Altamont, Illinois the daughter of Andrew and Ruth (Schulze) Wilson. She married Reynoll Redman on April 12, 1951 and he preceded her in death on March 6, 2000. Carol worked as a postal clerk for the Dieterich Post Office for 25 years. Carol was a member of the Edgewood American Legion Post #1168 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo.
Carol is survived by: Daughters – Deborah (Willie) Lewis of Dieterich, Illinois and Susan (William) Murry of Spring Green, Wisconsin...Grandchildren – Derek (Tammy) Lewis of Murfeesboro, Tennessee; Brian (Leddie) Lewis of Springfield, Illinois and William Clyde (Briana) Murry, Jr. of Spring Green, Wisconsin...Great Grandchidren – Morgan Lewis, Madison Lewis, Reynoll Murry and Aubrey Murry...Brother – Robert Wilson of Raymorre, Missouri.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother Carl Wilson; sisters Betty McAnany, Helen Taylor and Marsha Ellam.
