Phyllis J. Curtner Levingston, 87, of Neoga, formerly of Jewett died at 5:45pm Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Heartland Christian Village in Neoga.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, February 4 in the Swengel - O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga with the Rev. Richard Coen of Neoga officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Neoga Memorial Cemetery in Neoga. The Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Neoga Booster's Club.

Phyllis was born September 6, 1928, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Norton and Lottie (Paul) Lewis. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a fifty year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, both of Neoga, IL. Phyllis married Ernest L. "Pat" Curtner, September 6, 1947, in Henderson, KY. She and her husband  Pat owned and operated "Pat's" Marathon Service Station in Neoga for more than forty-six years. Phyllis enjoyed the outdoor's and visiting with her friends and neighbors. Mr. Curtner passed away August 19, 1995. Phyllis later married Walter Frank Levingston on June 25, 2005, in rural Neoga, IL and Mr. Levingston passed away July 27, 2012.

Phyllis leaves three sons, John Curtner and wife Linda of Jacksonville, FL, Mike Curtner of Charleston, SC and Robin Curtner and wife Lisa of Dutton AL: three daughters, Nancy Dow and husband Jim of rural Neoga, IL, Gloria Williams and husband Greg of Mattoon, IL Tina Crisman and husband Kevin of Oakdale, CT: one brother, Kenneth Lewis and wife Paula of rural Neoga, IL: Twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth Curtner; one brother, Harold Lewis; one sister, Goldie Henderson.
