Southern Illinois' Homecoming Gospel Choir will be in concert at the First Baptist Church in Mattoon Sunday, August 23 at 6 p.m. Featuring over 80 singers and musicians, Southern Illinois' Homecoming Gospel Choir, under the direction of John and Judy Roberts, presents an evening of southern gospel music capturing the highly popular Gaither Homecoming experience. Admission is free and a love offering will be received. First Baptist Church is located at 1804 South 9th Street in Mattoon.
