The Effingham Public Library is offering a free family concert on Monday, August 3 at 11 a. m. at the Effingham Performance Center. This concert is made possible thanks to the generous
sponsorship of the Grapevine Bluegrass Festival who is supplying the artist Mr. Pancake, a. k. a Frank Meyer and the Effingham Performance Center who is hosting the event.

Mr. Pancake, a. k. a. Frank Meyer has played with big stars like BB King but he's at his best when he's writing and singing funny songs. His sense of humor makes him a big hit with 8 and 80 year olds alike.

No tickets and no registration is required for this event.

To contact the library with questions, call (217) 342-2464 or email info@effinghamlibrary.org.

The Grapevine Bluegrass Festival will take place August 29 and 30 the Tuscan Hills Winery in Effingham, IL. The festival will feature bluegrass bands from all over the country including Effingham's own Firebox Bluegrass Band. Other acts include The Karl Shifflet and Big Country Show from Texas, Run Boy Run from Arizona, Chain Station from Colorado, the Henhouse Prowlers from Chicago and Flat Mountain from Illinois.

Tickets for Grapevine Bluegrass are $25 in advance for both days or $20 for a single day ticket and are available now at www.grapevinebluegrass.com or Fresh Digs Store
