A Memorial Benefit for Ruth (Peters) Wolf will be held Saturday, June 13 from 4-11 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 2102 S. Banker Street, in Effingham. Dinner will be from 4-7 p.m. with cost $7 for adults and $4 for children under 10. There will be a silent auction, bake sale, 50/50 drawing from 4-7 p.m. Music will be held from 7-11 p.m.

Ruth passed away May 9 from Lymphoma after being diagnosed in 2011. She also battled lung cancer. She fought a hard battle but uiltimately gained her angel wings. She did not have life insurance. Proceeds will go to Ruth's funeral expenses.
