Adult Programs at Helen Matthes Library
Join Helen Matthes Library for a variety of programs for adults on Thursday, June 5, to kickoff "Pause to Read" the Adult Summer Reading Program. At 10 a. m. on Thursday, Seniors 50 and older are welcome to Pause to Laugh with S. W. A. G. the library's social group. No registration is required for this event.
Register to attend, Pause to Refresh with Yoga for $6 led by Ginny Liss at Studio T on Thursday, June 5 from Noon to 1 p. m. Then register and attend the 6 p. m. book discussion Pause to Read 40 Chances by Howard Buffett, a Pushing the Limits book choice for 2014. Johnna Schultz, Adult Services Manager and Matthew Poston, Mr. Science Teacher, will facilitate a discussion of humanity continues to push the limits of science and technology and how these changes have affected the global food production choices both in the United States and abroad.
