Community Calendar

The University of Illinois Master Gardener’s of Effingham County are hosting a make-and-take Resurrection Garden project. 

Everyone is invited to come to the Effingham County Extension Office, located at 1209 Wenthe Drive in Effingham.  We will provide everything you need to make this centerpiece for your table.  We are offering this make-and-take project at 6:00 p.m. on February 29th, and again on March 1st at 1:00 p.m.

We will plant the grass seed, and you will mist it daily to get the grass growing.  It will be ready to be your centerpiece by Easter.
