2021 Miss Effingham County Fair Queen Application 

Young ladies between the ages of 16 and 21 are needed to participate in the Miss Effingham County Fair Queen Pageant to be held on Tuesday, August 3 2021.  Contestants will be judged on their personal interview, physical fitness in a swimsuit, timed one minute speech, and poise in an evening gown.  No entry fee or talent portion of the competition is required.  “Ladies cannot have reached their 22nd birthday by January 1, 2022". 

The winner will receive a $2000 cash scholarship, $1500 wardrobe fund, numerous prizes and an all-expense paid weekend to advance for the title of Miss Illinois County Fair Queen in January. 

             An informational meeting will be held on 

Thursday, June 3 at 7:30pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham.  Practices will be held in the evenings to be determined during June and July.
