Neoga Partnership for Progress is holding their second annual Sooeyfest, Saturday October 1st  from noon  to seven. This year Sooeyfest will be in downtown Neoga and feature food and craft vendors, children's activities and games, a free ham and bean lunch, pig calling contest, local music acts, pie contest, beer tent, 5k, and the smoke-off! Smoke-off entry is fifty dollars and includes half a pork butt, rack of ribs, and chicken for smoking. Grand prize is a Big Horn pellet smoker. Cash prizes will also be awarded for individual category winners.
