County Board Meets to Consider Contractual Issue, Protocol and Ethics

The Effingham County Board met in closed session Friday morning.

County Board Chairman Jim Niemann said after the meeting that they discussed a contractual issue. Niemann said the issue came to light and he wanted to brief the Board on the issue.  He said it concerned protocol and ethics.

Niemann said he could not disclose the issue at present, but said he hoped more information could be shared within the week.
