City Police Investigate Theft from a Vehicle

Effingham city police are investigating theft from a motor vehicle this week.

The theft occurred from a vehicle owned by Brock Reedy of Effingham.  The theft took place while the vehicle was parked in the 500 block of St. Anthony Avenue between 8pm Sunday and 2:40pm Monday.

Two ratchets were stolen, along with four wrench extensions, various sockets, a bit set and an impact wrench with two batteries.  The items taken are valued at more than $1,000.
