A cause of death could not be determined from the preliminary results of an autopsy conducted Wednesday on Altamont resident Jordan Kull.

Final autopsy results and toxicology tests are pending.  Foul play is not suspected.

The 31-year-old Kull was found dead Tuesday morning at a residence there.

At about 7:45am, a call to 911 requested emergency services at a residence on the east side of Altamont for a man found unresponsive.  At 7:59am, EMS requested the Coroner's Office respond. Effingham County Coroner Duane Guffey responded to the scene and pronounced Kull dead at 8:10am.

An investigation is continuing by the Coroner's Office, Altamont Police Department, and the Illinois State Police.
