Woman Killed in New Year's Day Crash in Bond County

A 26-year-old woman is dead after being hit by a truck in Bond County.

Kristy Mays was standing just inside the white line on the right side of the road when she was hit just south of Greenville.  The 19-year-old driver involved wasn't hurt and isn't being charged in the incident.

The accident happened at 3:00 Wednesday morning, just after the start of 2014.
