Volunteer of Year Award To Be Presented January 18

The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the "YOU Make A Difference" award
for volunteers in Effingham County who go above and beyond to make a difference in the community.

The "YOU Make A Differencei" award recognizes people who voluntarily give their time and talent to improve the community in areas including, but not limited to, health care, social services, youth or senior activities, the arts, education, governance, housing, nutrition, community growth and development, and community morale.

This award will be presented during the Annual Chamber Business Recognition Gala held Saturday, January 18, 2014 to an individual, couple, family or group who throughout the year has exhibited selfless commitment to the community via volunteer efforts that made a difference in others' lives.

Nominations can be mailed to or dropped off at the Chamber office, 903 N. Keller Dr., Effingham, IL 62401 or they can be emailed to Norma Lansing at nlansing@,effinghamchamber.org with the subject line Volunteer Nomination.

Nominations are due by Friday, December 27, 2013.
