Motions were considered during a court hearing Wednesday in the case of Mark Fulk. The 35-year-old Fulk is charged with solicitation of murder for hire and is accused of attempting to hire someone to kill his wife.
Defense attorney Lou Viverito presented requests at the hearing for additional information from prosecutors. Any remaining motions in the case are to be considered at a hearing set for January 22.
Fulk was arrested in April following allegations he attempted to use promises of money, a house, a motorcycle and a business to hire someone to kill his wife. Fulk is in custody in Fayette County Jail in Vandalia. Earlier information that he was free on bond was incorrect. Our apologies.
Fulk's trial is to begin February 24.
