The trial of area resident Mark Fulk, charged with trying to hire someone to kill his wife, has been delayed until after the first of the year.

The 35-year-old Fulk's case was in Fayette County Circuit Court Tuesday for a hearing on any pre-trial motions.  The work to provide information in the case by the prosecution to the defense is not yet finished, so the defense asked for a continuance.  The case had been set to go to trial on December 9.  Instead, Judge James Roberts rescheduled to begin February 24.

Fulk is alleged to have offered a man cash and merchandise if he would kill Fulk's wife.

A status hearing in the case is set for December 12.
