Halloween Parade Entry Deadline is Friday

"Favorite TV Reality Show" will be the theme for the 2013 Halloween Parade to be held Sunday, October 27.  The parade will kick off at 2pm.  The parade is sponsored by the Effingham Sunrise Rotary.

Line up for the parade will be at noon along Maple Street between Temple and Evergreen Avenues.  Only parade entries will be allowed on Maple Street.  Participants MUST enter off of Evergreen Avenue by Kluthe Memorial Pool. 

The parade will travel south on Maple to Jefferson Avenue and then east on Jefferson where the units will disband near City Hall.

Groups, orgnaizations, businesses and individuals interested in participating in the parade are asked to complete an entry form and return it to: Halloween Parade, care of Nathan Earnest, 406 E. Jefferson, Effingham, IL 62401.  Forms are available at West and Company at Jefferson and Willow or the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce at 903 North Keller Drive.  We also have an entry form elsewhere on the local news page of our website.

The parade entry deadline is this Friday, October 18.
