Authorities are continuing their investigation into the Sunday crash that resulted in the death of 20-year-old Jayce Wright of Beecher City.

The Illinois State Police and the Effingham County Coroner's Office are working to determine about when the crash occurred and are still trying to determine who was driving the vehicle involved in the crash.

The crash was discovered after motorists notice debris along Illinois 32 at 1900th Avenue shortly before 7:30am Sunday.  Effingham County Coroner Duane Guffey said the vehicle was traveling on 1900th Avenue and went across Illinois 32 and had rolled down a ravine into the woods east of the highway.

Guffey pronounced Wright dead at the scene.  The other occupant of the vehicle, 22-year-old Douglas Kelly of Shumway, was injured in the crash.  Kelly was taken to Carle Hospital in Urbana.  Authorities originally listed Kelly's age as 19.
