Clay City Man Injured in Crash Thursday Night

A Clay City man was injured in a Thursday night crash.
State police say 54-year-old Wilbur Michels was traveling on Main Street, south of Mead Avenue in Clay City when his vehicle ran off the left side the road. The vehicle came back onto the road and then ran back off to the left, struck the ditch and rolled over, coming to rest on its wheels.
Michels was injured and was taken to Clay County Hospital in Flora, and then to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
Michels was cited for DUI, improper lane usage and not wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened at 10:25pm Thursday.
