Rotary District Governor Visits Effingham

Rotary District Governor Larry Pennie made his official visit to the Effingham Noon Rotary Club Wednesday, September 25.

Governor Larry and District 6490 First Lady Arlene are touring each of the more than 50 clubs in the Rotary district.  Pennie stressed teamwork in achieving Rotary goals and noted that the Rotarians of various backgrounds and opinions can blend to become a highly effective Rotary club.

Neil Ritz was the Rotary weekly student guest.  He is the son of Dan and Ellen Ritz and is a senior at St. Anthony High School.
