VIDEO: Body of Randy Lane Returned to Neoga

The body of Randy Lane, the former Neoga resident and member of the Indiana National Guard, who died while serving in Afghanistan, is home in Neoga.

A procession of Patriot Guard Riders, military and police escorted Staff Sergeant Lane's body into Neoga. The group had a late departure from Indianapolis, and arrived in Neoga about 9:45am.

Officials and volunteers from around Neoga were setting flags along Route 45 Monday evening, in honor of Lane.

In the photo above, Patriot Guard Riders salute the body of Randy Lane, being carried into the First Christian Church of Neoga. Visitation for Randy Lane will be from 3 to 8pm Tuesday. Full funeral details are available here.

A large crowd estimated to be in the hundreds turned out to pay their respects to Lane and his family. Schoolchildren from Neoga were also in attendance.
