Three Injured in Crash in Fayette County

Three people were injured in a collision in rural Fayette County Friday night.

The crash happened at 9:12pm in an area two miles west of Farina.  State police say a SUV driven by 18-year-old Jennifer Oshea of Morton Grove failed to negotiate a curve.  The vehicle ran off the road and struck a ditch embankment, causing it to overturn on its side.

Oshea was injured along with her passengers 18-year-old Jennifer Feeney of Bloomington and 18-year-old Sarah Walters of Decatur.

Oshea was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash and improper lane usage.
