Koerner Distributor Acquires Champaign Distributing Company

Koerner Distributor Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Koerner announces the acquisition of Orange & Blue Distributing Company, Inc. in Champaign.

Koerner Distributor Inc. purchased Orange & Blue Distributing Company, Inc. (O&B), a primary distributor of MillerCoors, Boston Beer, Heineken, Corona and Diageo products that serves the five counties north of Koerner’s current distribution area.

“Orange & Blue has been an award-winning distributor for many years, and we are excited to acquire this company, as we expand our distribution area to the north,” said Koerner.

The purchase will expand Koerner’s footprint to include 52 of the 102 Illinois counties, while also integrating all O&B associates to their team.

“They have an outstanding group of associates who have performed at very high levels in the beer distributing business,” Koerner said. “This acquisition will combine the core strengths of each of our companies to create a world-class distributing company. And, we will continue the Koerner and O&B tradition of providing superior service to our customers. ”

Orange & Blue President, Allen Everette, also is pleased with the partnership.
