Two People Injured in Monday Crash in Effingham

Two people were injured in a crash in Effingham Monday morning.
The crash occurred at 8:25am at the intersection of South Banker and Jaycee Avenue. City police say a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Susan Hayes of Effingham struck a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Tiffany McWhorter of Effingham.
McWhorter and a passenger, 25-year-old Matthew McWhorter of Effingham, were injured and were taken to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.
Hayes was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
