Fire at Olney Strip Mall (UPDATE)

(THE SCENE AT PAPA MIKE'S SOON AFTER FIREFIGHTERS ARRIVED EARLY THIS MORNING)
A fire at a strip mall on the south side of Olney did damage to two businesses early today.
The call came at 4:11am to the mall at 728 South West Street. Two businesses, Papa Mike's Bar and Grill and a NAPA store, were damaged by the fire, which was finally fully under control about 10:30am.
Officers arriving at the scene reported flames were visible coming from the rear of the Papa Mike's business on the south end of the complex. The fire spread through the complex, damaging the Papa Mike's and NAPA Auto Parts businesses.
Several area fire departments were called for mutual aid including the Noble/Wakefield Fire Protection District, Claremont/Bonpas Fire Protection District, West Salem Fire Protection District, Wade Fire Protection District from Newton, Bridgeport Fire Protection District, Clay City Fire Protection District, Sumner/Christy Fire Protection District and Lawrence/Allison Fire Protection District.
One firefighter was struck with a piece of metal when oil and chemicals inside the NAPA store exploded. The firefighter was treated on-scene and was not seriously injured.
