United Way Sets $295,000 Campaign Goal

United Way of Effingham County has set a 2013 campaign goal of $295,000.

Campaign Chair Peggy Valenti announced the goal at this year's kickoff luncheon.  The luncheon was held for businesses interested in conducting an employee campaign.

Those present heard from representatives of this year's "Lead Pacesetter" company, Midland States Bank as well as from others who shared their success stories and plans for their upcoming campaign.

21 local partner agencies receive funding from United Way of Effingham County.
