Jerseyville Woman Injured in Crash Near St. Elmo

A Jerseyville woman was injured in a car crash west of St. Elmo over the weekend.

The crash occurred at 2:27pm Sunday on I-70 eastbound.  State police say 33-year-old Rachel Dickey lost control of her vehicle, which ran off the road to the right, and rolled over into the ditch.

Dickey was taken to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.  Dickey was cited for improper lane usage.
