The Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission has brought a complaint against Coles County attorney Lonnie Lutz. The complaint alleges three counts of battery.
The charges stem from two alleged incidents in 2012 and one in 2010 involving three women whom Lutz was assigned to represent. Each count in the complaint allege unwanted sexual advances toward the women.
A Hearing Board will consider the complaint and if a finding is made that Lutz did act improperly will recommend appropriate action.
Lutz recently retired as Coles County Public Defender.
