Crash in Marion County Injures One Driver

A car and motorcycle collided in Marion County, resulting in injuries to the motorcycle rider.

The crash occurred at 5:30pm Thursday on Illinois 37, two miles south of Salem.  State police say the motorcycle operated by 19-year-old Antonio Crossland-Camp of Salem passed a car driven by 22-year-old Megan Brittany Green of Alma as Green slowed to make a turn.  Crossland-Camp tried to avoid another vehicle and struck Green's vehicle.

Crossland-Camp was injured and was airlifted to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.  He was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.  Green was not injured.
