Stew-Stras School Board Members Buy a Bus

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members acted at this month's meeting to purchase of a 72-passenger bus at a cost of $126,783, but tabled commercial insurance renewal for the coming school year.

The Board discussed future athletic director duties, approved membership in the IHSA and IESA for the coming school year, and approved an updated calendar for the current school year.

In personnel moves, the Stew-Stras board accepted the resignation of Dr. Ian Kirkley and of Monica Tomblin, both at the end of the school year, hired Gary Schumacher as a six hour custodian, and approved the SEPCO purchasing agreement for the coming school year.
