Beecher City Board Sets 2025 Graduation Date

Beecher City school board members Monday approved the 2024-2025 graduation date as Saturday, May 10, at 2pm.

The Board also set the calendar for the 2025-2026 school year.

Board members scheduled an organizational meeting following the April 1 election for May 5; and approved technology upgrades by QNS at the grade school building. The Board also approved membership in the IESA and IHSA for the coming school year and renewed Teacher Ease for the coming year.

The Board accepted a bus bid, and approved an intergovernmental agreement with Lake Land College to establish the Laker Connect.

Following closed session, Beecher City board members accepted a letter of resignation from Vanessa Wright as extra-curricular half-time concession manager; accepted an irrevocable letter of retirement from certified staffer Candis Allen as of the end of the school year; and accepted a letter of resignation from certified staffer Sarah Kirchhofer as of the end of the school year.
