An Effingham man has been sentenced to prison.
33-year-old Aaron Baker received a four-year prison term Wednesday for violating an order of protection for a prior domestic battery. A count of aggravated domestic battery was dismissed as part of a negotiated plea.
Baker will serve six months mandatory supervised release once out of prison. He was given credit for 349 days served awaiting disposition of his case.
