Effingham County CEO students are heading into the home stretch of their 2025 class business.

Four members of the class were guest speakers at the Effingham Noon Rotary Club to promote the business which, this year, is a take-off on "Family Feud".

"Hometown Showdown" is set for March 1 at 7pm at the Effingham Performance Center. It'll be a survey-based, team competition game show, just like the Feud, but it will feature local contestants and locally-gleaned survey results. Greg Sapp of Premier Broadcasting and LA comedian and Effingham native Avery Brooks will host the event.

Teams from local businesses will be competing.

Those on hand from the CEO Class to discuss "Hometown Showdown" were, from left, Carson Etheridge of Effingham High School, Emma Bloemer of Teutopolis High School, Cooper Tegeler of Teutopolis High School, and Grace Harper of Effingham High School, joined by Noon Rotary President Andrew Koester.

You can get tickets for the competition at www.ticketmaster.com/epc or by phoning the EPC Box Office at 217-540-2788.
