Enterprise Zone Board Reviews Success Seen in 2024

(THE EFFINGHAM ENTERPRISE ZONE BOARD AT TUESDAY'S MEETING)

Just under $9.7 million in development was seen during the past year in the Effingham/Effingham County Enterprise Zone in the past year.

Members of the Enterprise Zone Board met Tuesday and were updated by City Economic Development Specialist Sasha Althoff on the projects undertaken in 2024.

21 projects were begun in the Zone over the year, including 12 residences. Commercial projects include Valvoline, Shelter Insurance and The Arena Trampoline Park.

46 jobs were created in the Zone in 2024.
