Bishop Paprocki to Celebrate Mass Wednesday at St. Anthony During Catholic Schools Week

Bishop Thomas John Paprocki of the Catholic Diocese of Springfield in Illinois will celebrate Mass Wednesday morning during Catholic Schools Week. The Mass will be celebrated at 10am at St. Anthony of Padua High School.

The Bishop's visit is part of the weeklong celebration of National Catholic Schools Week. The schools planning to participate are St. Anthony High School of Effingham, St. Anthony Grade School of Effingham, Sacred Heart School of Effingham, St. Thomas School in Newton, and St. Michael School in Sigel.

The Diocese of Springfield serves 124,000 Catholics in 28 counties in Central Illinois. 10,244 students attend 43 Catholic schools in the diocese, which contains 36 elementary schools and seven high schools.
