Members of the Effingham High School Multimedia class had the chance Thursday to show their work.

Charlie Huber's students incorporate reading, writing and 'rithmetic into their work each day, but how it is incorporated is a little different than in many classrooms.

The students presented a Multimedia Gallery Walk. Other EHS students and community members had an opportunity to view the students' projects. The work included songs and short stories written by the class members, stop action videos, DJ services, and a variety of other projects. The students sign contracts for their projects and those indicate what work is going to be included and what learning is involved.

Huber spoke with our Greg Sapp about the class and about the Gallery Walk...

Greg also spoke with some of the class members. One of those is Kaden Rogers...

Greg talked with Oscar Mendoza about his stop action animation project...

Greg also interviewed Michael Love about the song he's written, how music is such a big part of his life, and how the Multimedia class has helped him...

Huber said the Gallery Walk held Thursday is designed to give the students in Multimedia the oppotunity to engage with others as to what they have learned, as well as share what the class offers and to discuss the journey of each student.
